Editing the image
Step 02To edit the navigation or subheading, start by editing the text. The navigation uses the font Myraid Pro, which may need to be suplemented if you do not have the font installed.
When you are done editing the text, you are ready to save your image for use on your site.
Saving the image
Step 03To save, start by creating a new layer, and by bringing it to the top of your layer window.
Select this new layer, and then go to Select->All, or simply hit Ctrl+A to select the whole layer. Then go to Image->Apply Image, making sure the blending mode is on Normal.
Then, copy the layer with the applied image on it by going to Edit->Copy, or by simply pressing Ctrl+C. Once the image has been coppied, create a new document by going to File->New..., or by pressing Ctrl+N. Use the settings that appear to create your new image. Your height and width will most likely be different than the one shown below.
Paste the image in your new document by selecting the new document and then going to Edit->Paste, or simply hit Ctrl+V.
To save, go to File->Save As..., or hit Ctrl+Shift+S. Make sure you save with the PNG format, and give all navigation images the name btn_nameofnavigation.png, and all sub-header images the name nameofsubheader.png.
The banner and logo are all up to you. Do with them what you want. Be sure to read the CSS file very carefully when you are changing the images. The Protek CSS CAN automatically round your banner if you are looking to have rounded corners (this feature can also be disabled). The font used on the logo is Helvetica, which also may need to be suplemented if you do not have the font installed.
